Amazing movie. Or, maybe I should say it was fantastic? I very much enjoyed it.
Kinda surprised about the amount of younger kids though. They had their parents with them so, of course, they had all the right to see it and I’m definitely not complaining in any way. Hope they liked it. I’m just a bit surprised, partly because the movie is in English and although it had Swedish subs, based on my experience with kids in those ages, I’d think they’d have a bit of a problem keeping up with the language. Also, it’s not really written for a younger audience. Not that young, at least. Teenage and up feels more fitting. But, as I said, if they liked it that’s great!
I’m a big Harry Potter-fan and I’ve read all the books – in Swedish, although I bought Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in English so that will be my first by J.K. Rowling to read in the original language – and watched all the movies so I was really looking forward to this one. It did reach my expectations. Another surprise there. It was exciting and funny. The animations was fantastic. I honestly had no idea Johnny Depp would be in it or Colin Farrell for that matter. Eddie Redmayne fitted the role of Newt Scamander perfectly and I think Dan Fogler absolutely deserves some credit, too.
I would love to see even more movies in this universe.
Since I have nothing better to do at the moment (actually I’ve searched everywhere for this specific certificate I need for a job application but I can’t find it so now I’m taking a break) I decided to have some fun with a A to Z survey about books.
Author you’ve read the most books from:
J.K. Rowling. I read a lot of different authors and, to be honest, I don’t think I’ve read more books from a single author than her. Yet!
Best sequel ever: City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. This was a tough one though because I often think of book series as a whole.
Currently reading: Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Yes, I’m extremely behind on this one. I weren’t sure if I wanted to read these at first but after watching all the movies I decided to give them a chance.
Drink of choice while reading:
I don’t really drink anything while reading a book. Too afraid I’ll accidentally spill something and ruin the book!

Physical book. No question about it.
Fictional character you probably would have actually dated in high school:
Roth from The Dark Elements-trilogy by Jennifer L. Armentrout. He’s such a bad boy but he still cares, even if he shows it in his own way.
Glad you gave this book a chance: Love Life by Ray Kluun. It’s not really the genre I go for but I was recommended it and I’m so happy I read it. It’s an amazingly well-written and heartfelt story about when he lost his wife to cancer.
Hidden gem book: The Incredible Journey by Sheila Burnford. I don’t know if it can be classified as a hidden gem exactly… for anyone reading in Swedish I would like to mention Tre trappor upp med hiss by Maria Gripe.
Important moment in your reading life:
When I was still young and dad would read the same books to me every night, over and over again. Thanks, dad!

I’d like to say autobiographies, crime and chic-lit. But there’s always some exemptions.

Not yet having read The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. The thing is I’ve owned the books for several years but I still haven’t read them. I feel kinda bad about it.
Series you started and need to finish (all books are out in series): Jennifer Scales by MaryJanice Davidson (I think all books are out in this one) and The Noble Dead Saga by Barb & J.C. Hendee. Those are the series I can think of right now that I haven’t finished.

None at the moment. Currently reading series which I’m sort of behind in so the next books are already out.
Worst bookish habit:
I tend to read way too many books at the same time. Like, right now my pile consists of only three books but it’s been around seven and more. I should really learn to read one book at a time.
